How to Build your gallery wall

Colours
First you can decide what colours and theme to use for your gallery wall. Usually I like to use just one colour and use prints with different tones of that one colour. Less is more when it comes to choosing colours. Too many themes and colours can make it complicated to the eye.

What vibe?
Now that you’e chosen your colour theme… How do you want to feel when you look at your wall? Bold and vibrant, calming and coastal or funky and fun!?
Sometimes choosing one main print you love can be a great start, then choosing others that suit the theme and feel the art gives you. Its fun to choose different orientations of art, both landscape and portrait can work together. Cute quotes you like can be fun prints too!

Placement
Now where do you put them on your wall? This step is much more fun with a buddy…
If you have one piece that is a little bigger than the rest start with that print first, get someone to hold it up where you’d like it and start measuring it on your wall. Then work the smaller ones around it. you can have the height staggered which looks great. Try and keep the distance apart the same, whether your prints are above or next to each other. I’ve put photos below for some Inspo.. Enjoy creating your gallery wall! x
